Way too convoluted of a solution.

If you are on OS X, just use Glims.

Works perfectly! Free too.

Has many more features than just restoring previous browsing sessions.

Kinda gets you into the bad habit of leaving way too many tabs open with a "I'll get to reading them later"... but great nonetheless! No different than Opera/Chrome functionality...

Devs respond insanely quick to new Safari releases (usually same day or next day updates, if necessary)

Cheers

Not even close to Opera or Chromes, they automatically saves and restores all open tabs, without the need to bookmark pages.
