Google has released its toolbar now in its 34th version though it still is in beta iam posting here the latest features introduced.
New! Enhanced Search Box
As you type a search query into the new Toolbar’s search box, you’ll see a list of useful suggestions based on popular Google searches, spelling corrections and your own Toolbar search history and bookmarks. You can also click the ‘G’ icon in the search box to search different Google sites, the current site, or sites for which you’ve installed custom search buttons.
New! Custom Buttons
You can add buttons to your Toolbar that will let you visit and search your favorite websites and keep up with interesting feeds. Our Button Gallery offers a selection of ready-made buttons for popular sites, and you can make your own buttons in seconds by right-clicking within the search box on any site and selecting “Generate Custom Search…” Start making your own buttons.
New! Bookmarks
Want to create and label bookmarks that you can access from any computer? Simply click the Toolbar’s star icon, or right-click the star to add and label a bookmark. You’ll be able to access your Bookmarks menu on any computer with the new Google Toolbar installed.
Note this feature stores your bookmarks online, so you’ll need to have a Google Account and be signed in to create and access your bookmarks. You can also view your bookmarks using your Google Account’s Search History feature. Just click the “Search History” link that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the Google homepage when you’re logged into your Google Account and you’ll see your Bookmarks. Sign up for a Google Account.
New! Send To
You can use your Google Toolbar to share web pages via email, text message (SMS), or blog. To share an entire page, select from the Toolbar’s “Send To” menu; to share an excerpt, simply select the section of the page you want to share before clicking “Send To.”
Note: sending text messages via the Google Toolbar is free. Your cell phone carrier, however, may charge a fee to receive messages, on either a monthly or per-message basis.
New! Google Account Sign-in
Your Google Account is your access point for Google services like Personalized Homepage, Google Groups and Gmail – and now you can sign in and out right from your Toolbar. Simply click on the Settings button on the right end of the Toolbar and select “Sign In” (you’ll know you’re signed in when the Toolbar shows you a green light). Sign up for a Google Account.

As of now the application would show you street level maps of Bangalore only but the team working on including more base map data into future builds.
Excerpts from the developers blog are as below:
Microsoft Research has released a first public build of their Virtual India research project. Language choices for the UI and map labels include English, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil. Before trying it out, I strongly encourage you to read more about the project at their site for background. Then check out the application. Street level maps are limited to Bangalore for this release, but they are working to integrate more base map data into future builds. This is a great first release and I’m looking forward to seeing where they take this. A discussion forum for the project is availible if you’d like to send feedback to the team working on this

Ever wanted to have a MAC but your bank balance did not like the idea well fear not because in this world live amazing people.
what iam talking about here is the FlyakiteOSX v3.0 now in its in 3rd version brings you the MAc to Windows.
“what!!! Mac on windows pear pc is it…???”
Nopes no virtual pc no nothing, its a tranformation pack that transforms your Windows xp VISUALLY to a MAC.
On visiting the site itself would give you a sneak preview of what it got loaded for you as you visit the site you would see the Boot skin that you would see when you would boot your pc after installing this pack, also you get a MAC like Login Box just as you boot up into the site and voila you also get to see your MAC like Desktop which actually is the site itself.
Well on to the Program, the simple installer included would install the necessary programs needed to emulate your Windows XP to a MAC,this installer also includes a uninstaller if you dont like it or just got bored out of it without any glitches.
It is spyware proof no adware no spamware.
One Suggestion from my side always have a backup, always use the system restore feature to make a Restore Point before installing a tranformation pack because you dont know when evil could conquer good.

The regularly in the news which by now is used to be in the news is again in the news,ok i’ll stop this tounge twister of mine.
Google released its Software pack today it consists of its very known proprietary softwares as well as other softwares.
Google which always believed in freewares has specifically chosen freewares in this pack the likes of Ad-Aware SE Personal,Mozilla Firefox and Adobe Reader 7 are seen in this pack.Strangely google has also included Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition which is not a freeware. But yes looking into the site a bit i found that Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition would be free for only 6 months after which you would have to buy a liscense to continue using it,notice the “Special Edition”.
Another cool or rather very useful feature is that you can remove any software which you do not want in the software pack you would be downloading i.e at the site itself has options of removing any specific software from the pack you do not want so in the end you get only the programs compiled into one pack you want.
This looks like a promising feature google has introduced which would help saving a lot of time i.e rather then downloading each of these softwares separately we get them compiled into one pack which can be downloaded in one go.
Google Software Included
*Google Earth – 3D Earth browser
*Picasa – Photo organizer
*Google Desktop
*Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer
*Google Pack Screensaver
Additional Software Included
*Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar
*Ad-Aware SE Personal – Antispyware utility
*Norton Antivirus 2005 Special Edition – Antivirus utility
*Adobe Reader 7 – PDF reader
